About this, some time ago, I was at someone that has FoxPro LAN 2.0 and a functional old application built with it. Curious, I've searched through the EXE for 'server' with a viewer . I've found "Fox Server could not start ..." error message in EXE.

>Rumor has it that this is where FoxPro was going before MicroSoft bought it. There's a bunch of other differences that SQL Server has over VFP for serving data. We will never see them in VFP. But it looks like the direction VFP is going in will be have easier access to SQL Server and XML data.
