Hi.
My question is "Why to reinvent the wheel?". There are a lot of free database servers that do this.
And you will have a lot of issues to solve. Database servers are multithreaded, with threads that handle each connection and threads for garbage collection. How will you handle connections? What if a connection take 5 min. to execute a command? How about locks, transactions, ...?
My opinion is that doesn't worth the time and effort.

It will be easier fo MSFT to do this, at least a server component to handle locks, updates and queries (as CodeBase)
