Have you tried to identify the line of code where this is happening? What would you be doing with an API that might cause problems?

The help file says - "The parameters passed to an API caused an exception in the API. Make sure that you pass all the necessary parameters to the API and that the parameters are of the proper type."

Maybe 7 is giving you a different return value and you are using it for a parameter? Just a WAG.
