Hi Elmer,

SQL Server client is 2000 ?

On BOL is write: SQL
On SQL Server 2000 your client can define a database with
a compatibility level to ...65,70,80.

You can try this way, but i think it is a blind alley.

1° Client export data on a standard format.
2° Connect on WAN and with DTS you copy data.
3° You skip to SQL2000.
