Dave,

I had another thought. In vfp we set the screen resolution in the IDE so the forms and controls are generated correctly. Even if I am working in a 1024 X 768 pixel environment, I can tell the vfp IDE that I will be deploying in a 800 X 600 environment. Does VS 2003 have a similar feature. Could this be what is tripping us up? Did your laptop have a different screen resolution than you other computer?

Neil

I think it only happened when I modified the form and then ran it. Each time I ran it the controls got bigger and moved their position. I haven't been developing on my laptop recently but I'll take a look at it later today.
