How many millionaires have ASP NET projects made here in the US? They're all bench projects! Like working an assembly line -

> In the end, the US company gets exactly what was documented, and perhaps not what they need.

And that was the gist of my response :-) - purchasing agents and IT managers don't make decisions anymore - they're brain dead - they let MS make all the decisions for them. If an IT department cannot think for itself and make it's own decisions - then their departments should empty out and all the jobs should go over seas. Then, companies' will have to use clunky - over generalized applications. That should - however increase the demand for phone solistors, since the autodialers and order entry will go a lot slower!

Creates a whole new job market for them out of work developers - whats the difference between a developer and a programmer?

That was the gist of the article anyway. Of course, it was written by an American developer, so some bias might be involved. <g>

Maybe he be writting for a phone solistation journal soon - or - his next article - waiting on tables in style:-).
