I suspect this is an authentication issue, but not sure how to resolve it. In the past when we've used Outlook 2000 to connect to our Exchange Server opening Outlook did not require a login. We are upgrading computers to XP and Office XP. When we open Outlook 2002 it prompts for user name, domain and password. Given those it logins and get mail fine. Since we authenticate upon Windows login, why would Outlook 2002 require a login of its own? We'd really rather be rid of this additional login.
Additional Details: Server is a Windows 2000 Server (latest SP) and Exchange is 5.5 (latest SP too).
