i've read the threads for SQL server or Oracle dont problem but i think Pervasive SQL doesnt support without DSN name connections ... anyway exactly each user must install pervasive client engine to connect remote data .. DSN name takes 1 minute . i have a conn.dbf with a fields srvname,dsnname and at the startup i am retrieving from table its to the public variable such as lcserver and lcdsnname . by this way my app can use on every computer user should only change servername and dsnname on the table (also via on the form tools section)
this solution very use came to me . TIA for all Mark . now i wantto learn howto use CA ,SOAP,.net toolkit for vfp . i wantto migrate my apps with these technics. how would be your suggestions for start these matters ?
