Hi Pat,

You can download and install Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) from http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/dataaccess.asp?frame=true. It includes SQL Server ODBC driver and other data access components. It may correct your problem.

>I'm working on the installation (InstallShield Express) of a VFP 8 app which uses CursorAdapter to talk to SQL Server 2000. I happened to check the box "Sql Server" under "Drivers and DSNs" which was under "ODBC Resources". I built the setup file and tried installing it on my "clean" test machine. Now I can't even bring up the SQL Server Enterprise manager - even it can't connect to the database. The message is "ODBC Driver Manager Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed. I am searching Microsoft's KB to no avail. Maybe I just need to reinstall ODBC? I'm not sure how to do that - resinstall Windows 2000??
