In SQL Server 2000 I would like to set the backup file to a volume on a Novell server (from there to tape). However, I can't get SQL Server to see the volume. When I go to add the file name in Enterprise Manager, the mapped drive doesn't show. Entering the path manually with drive letter or UNC pathing doesn't work either.

I am logging into the Netware server (with the MS client for netware) with the same username/password as I logged into the NT4 server, which is the same username used for the services for SQL Server and SQLServerAgent.

Is there a way to make this work? Am I doing something wrong?
