Hi all - I have an application, running an .exe, on a server running windows XP Professional. 8 workstations running windows 98 second edition, most are a 500-900 mghz chip. The first work station to sigh in gets excellent login time and response time. The 2nd or subsequent users takes 50+ seconds to login, 10 seconds or more on a screen refresh after doing a find. Respopnse time is abysmal. I have loaded the app on my home newtwork, and for a 1.3 ghz chip running windows 2000 Professional, it takes almost a minute to get to the login form.

I do a load of some public variables in the app class in the before readevents, however, that is the only custom code. I do have the dodefault in place.

I loaded it on my home network which is 2 i.4 gig machines both running Windows 2000 Professional. If I run the executable from a different machine than it is loaded on, it takes almost a minute to get to the login form. My network here and the one at the client is a 100mb network. This seems to be too long and I am stumped as to what to look for. \
