As Fred Taylor advised, I found that the object.LockScreen() method was causing the form 'vapour trail'. And to make matters worse, when I removed the object.LockScreen() methods, it didn't make any difference to what I was trying to do which begs the question why i added it in the first place! Therefore, I am hoping that the original problem will now go away. I am planning extensive testing tonight.
