Several days I tested this error "VFP8r.dll is damaged or invalid" on W'98. Error isn't detect on Windows'98 "Second edition". But after launch application in W'98 - "first edition", this one ended with error. Installation VFP runtime files is the same, GDIPLUS.dll too.
Microsoft claim that VFP8 runtime files work in W98.
