a friend of mine runs a big enough network, about 7 remote sites all running their own versions of MS server various editions but they are moving back from Advanced Server to plain old Server to save on license fee's as they have found Server every bit as good. So from their experience i would go with the least expensive license agreement unless you need a particular facility thats only on one or other of the versions.

.NET 2003 comes with Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. We just purchased a server and would like suggestions on which of those two versions of Windows Server to install. What pluses and minuses does each have?

TIA,

Alex
