Yes,
You should choose a strategy for it (via a commandbutton, as soon as a parent is inserted or when EditGrid is getting focus and no child for that parent - last one correspond to Editgrid1.when in sample).
Note that this behaviour has nothing to do with EditGrid. It's the same for any grid showing childs ( I don't want other readers mistakenly to think Foxy EditGrid is faulty :)
