>I am experiencing some inconsistencies with the report writer with respect to printing the page header on new pages. I have an invoice that prints from two files a header file and detail file and everything prints properly, except that the page header is not always printed. One of the fields is a memo field which has been set to stretch with overflow. It seems that on some of the pages, fewer detail items are printed than on others. When this happens, the page header does not print on the next page. Is there a setting that I have missed? The report summary which prints the invoice totals, always prints, but it looks foolish sitting as the only object on a page with no header information. Any ideas and suggestions welcome. Thanks again.

Carmen,

two posibilites imo

(1) Have a group on invoicenumber and set the group to begin on a new page

if (1) fails, then add
UPDATE: only if in the page header
(2) Can you set the stretch with overflow off for the memo in the header ? Just size the memo control in the header of the report to the max space it can occupy
