I am sure there are thousands of just causes for concern of jobs in the United States. I heard this on television last night.

For those that are interested the word Boycott comes from an action in Ireland in 1880. Interestingly, I have read a good deal of the events leading up to the creation of the term Boycott, and even saw a movie on the topic. All indications were that the “people” won his/her point. In the case of Verison, the workers want the customers to Boycott the company. This they proclaim will save their jobs. I would suggest if Version had no or too few customers it would go out of business. That would not satisfy what the employees hope to attain. You never know what the effect of blind emotion or belligerence will bring.
If Version were to go out of business, I would feel sorry for the executives with their millions of dollars. They would go on to another company and make millions more.
Golden Parachutes worth more than one hundred million dollars are not uncommon for top-level executives. It is amazing how such individuals can destroy a company and then move to another to continue their legacy. Why if we did not protect business executives and insure their financial future is secure then American business would fail!
As for the investors and employees, who cares? Investors are in it for the greed and deservie whatever they get. Investors always come back even after experiencing heavy losses. Surely I will be a winner this time!
As for employees, there are always plenty of sheep waiting to be slaughtered. As one is butchered another takes its place. Just like any working class person anywhere in the world.
We may think we are more sophisticated than other people of the world but do not kid yourself. You are either a sheep or an executive!
