Yeah, reports are a confusing

Tell you what I do

Each invoice is printed off a cursor, and each invoice is a separate print job

I print the customr details (address, ..), invoice number, date in the page header

As to the summary (total, ...), I print that in the page footer. ie I do not have a summary band, Each field having print when: LastLine

I add a report variable: LastLine, initial value .f., Value to store: reccount() == recno()

no problems reported

Success, (I know how it feels when designing reports, currently busy on one myself ;-) )
