As Craig posted, there are no plans for VFP8 certification. I'd also like to point out that the current (VFP6, 70-155 and 70-156) exams will be retired on June 30, 2004. You will not lose any certification gained by the 70-155 and 70-156 exams but the exams will no longer be available.
