Yes, I suppose so, though I'm really defending only vfp. :)

I will say, however, that PB is a respectable development product, we have some use of it here at my agency -- it's just that we are basically FP people here at UT, and as I said, PB is generally regarded as competition. Sybase, on the other hand can be used as a backend to vfp (I interface with it myself), so its status is not as bad...
