Your reply made me chuckle (and sweat). When in Myrtle Beach, the hotel we stayed at was fantastic, however, as with most beach hotels, the elevators were not air conditioned. It was uncomfortable just for short rides, let alone when it would stop on all floors to pick up/drop off passengers. The thought of being stuck in that elevator all night is terrifying!

>>My daughter and I were talking about this last night. We have gone 2-3 days without power on several occasions due to ice storms in the winter and hurricanes in the summer and let me tell you, it gets 'HOT' in North Carolina in August! Many NC residents have generators for that very reason. However, at least we don't have a million people in our yard when it happens though and neither were we trapped in the subway! But because it is not densely populated where we are, when the lights go out, it is DARK!
