>My wife and I watch several news sources. Not 5% of what Univision reports is on television news from the United States. The things they report are often frightening! Examples include laws our Federal Government passes and we are not aware of! If you speak and understand Spanish you can learn a good deal about our country. Que pena.

Not that I'm forcing any parallels here, but...
During the 88-day protests in winter 96/97, Milosevic's TV was completely ignoring the fact that an average of 100,000 people were marching every day in the streets of Belgrade, plus more in other cities. The state TV even showed those streets on main news broadcast, only from 3rd floor up, in the weather report, omitting the embarrassing fact that the people were there.
At the same time, you could have full coverage on another outlet of the same state TV - if you understood Hungarian. The news from Novi Sad TV center (which serves this area with lots of minorities and has lots of programming in their languages) were not censored that much.
