Maybe I didn't get it right. But I am trying this view in the VFP IDE, does it still required REQUERY(). Also one thing I noted after I got copy-pasting the code and creting this thread and other works, when I returned to VFP and tried the view it stared showing the data again.

Also this view will then later be used in an external application through ODBC w/o any VFP interaction and this is the view which freezes this external application.

Noticing this and the freezing I thought they might be related.
