I agree with you here. No matter how through the documentation is, most docuemtation focus on one specific item or command. I think what Jim and most of us would like to see is more of 'how' things work in the background and 'how' to perform certain meta tasks. Of course, the VFP samples and FFC go a long way to help with this.
