Hi Tom,

I don't know your reasons for leaving the .exe in the server instead of installing it in the workstations, but if it is for ease of deploying new versions and updates, you should run a quick search on "stub program" here in the UT.

Let us know what happens!!!!

Someone made the comment that Microsoft had acknowledged a problem with XP and a VFP executable. It seems strange that the the first user in gets very acceptable response time, but the the following users have very poor response time. I have tried all the suggestions mentioned thus far, except for changing the MTU and moving it to each work station. While this makes some sense, I have not had to do that with other executables. All other systems I have tunning, are running under NT, or 2000 from the server.
