I have three views. View1, View2, and View3.
Today - I started getting and error with view3. View3 calls the data from view2 which calls the data from view1.

If you pull the data from view1 in the Query Analyzer - data is correct
If you pull the data from view2 in the Query Analyzer - data is correct
If you pull the data from view3 in the Query Analyzer - last 20 or so columns are off by two columns. In other words - data shows in the wrong columns.
The data in the tables is all correct.

After struggling for a while - I scripted the view3 out, dropped view3 and recreated it. Now the data in view3 is correct.

Well it's great that I solved the problem but I can't go around dropping and recreating views all the time. Can someone explain what might have happened and how I would go about preventing it from happening again?

Thanks!
Donna
