Since our company restricts end-user's to install any program on his/her computer, when we deploy any software we have to login with a different network user account that has permission to install software. Pretty standard network policy in most companies.

The problem I'm having that we didn't have with W2K is when we deploy our VB6 application on XP machines the permission to access components (OCX and DLLs) that are part of the application isn't automically delegated to the user of the computer, just the user account that installed the program.

I know this problem is related to more security built into XP but I hate to manually grant access rights to each component for each user/group account. Is there something I can add/edit in the installation file (using PDW) that would automatically allow me to grant permission to specific user/group account to access all the components during installation? TIA.
It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
