That may not be a big problem, actually (this was discussed in another thread recently). If the non-debugger EXE is not enormous and is already fairly fast, compiling a runtime EXE with the debug info *may* not cause a large performance hit, though it does make the EXE a lot larger, of course.
But it might be worth testing to see how much effect it has, if having debug info in a distributable EXE is very useful. For a small EXE, adding the debug info is not even noticeable in performance, in some testing I did.
