We are having frequent occurances of getting an Error #108 in our VFP 7.0 application. The program is doing a SQL INSERT command into a log file which is opened by as many as fifty users. The application only adds new rows to this table after updates to other tables have completed. No explicit locks are issued by the program prior to the SQL INSERT command. The error did not occur when we were doing an APPEND BLANK, followed immediately by a REPLACE command. We were not doing any explicit locking after the APPEND command and we were not experiencing this error or any other problems. Is there a problem with using the SQL INSERT in this manner?
