You don't want to build your own entirely, I see :-)

I guess next on my suggestion list would be to hack the frx (or a copy would also work), add the DE data record(s) for the table(s) you want (this will require a little poking around, using an FRX with a DE for example), then let user do their thing with the builder. Then either delete copy of frx, or records containing the DE info.


Depending on how you're doing things (whether including frx in EXE, for example), I think this idea would work with either the original frx or a copy, though have never tried it myself. However, if you look at an FRX DE table info, there's not much there, so my guess it should be fairly easy.
