Hey all,

Wow, found it...

I had a caption property of a label as:

='='

Basically, I wanted the caption to be a single equals sign. Had to use the goofy syntax to get it to work in VFP 7.0.

Now, apparently nothing is allowed. I have tried:

=
==
=[=
="="
='='
'='
"="

and nothing will give me the single equals sign without a syntax error.

Strangely enough, the form will come up in run-time mode no problem, with the equals sign exactly where it should be. But design mode won't accept it any more.

Is this a known bug? Anyone know how to get an equals sign as a caption at design time without having to put it in code (I am assuming that would still work).

Thanks,
JoeK
