Right. I have a Visual FoxPro application that I distribute via Insall Shield. Install Shield handles all the registration of components and placement of the application and databases. However, I had to personal write a little application that the adm of the application can use to setup users and passwords, so anyone coming into the application can be authenticated. Most of the enterprise databases have this base covered much more throughly, and without any need for customized code.
