it's actually on an advantage server (v6.2) and i've tried using the latest (v6.2) advantage odbc driver to access it but always get a c00005 error on doing so. this has been confirmed by microsoft to be a bug with the driver but there seems to be no forthcoming patch from extended systems (advantage providers).
there is an oledb driver too for advantage but i have no experience in using these. any ideas about how to set it up?
