Neil,
>The project was created with the MM.NET wizard. I expanded the Reference node to find:
>Mere Mortals Framework
>Mere Mortals Framework Interfaces
>System
>System.Data
>System.XML
That's correct if you've expanded the References node of the business object project. If you expand the References node of the Web Forms project, you should also see:
Mere Mortals Framework Web Forms
>CustomerOrders.cs, as seen below, was the first web form that I created and it looks as if the wizard was involved or does it?
Yes, it does, based on the fact that you've got the above MM .NET assembly references in your project.
>CustomerOrders runs just fine. There is however some crazy stuff going on when I use the property builder to glamorize the datagrid. However, if you delete all of the boundcolumns and re-create it, the form will run just fine.
I'd need more details to help you out here...
>Step 10 of the Jump Start (Creating Order Edit form) as seen below is confusing to me. IE: In step 1. it says: go to the Properties Window. Shouldn’t it say: Go to the Solution Explorer.
Got me! That's a typo, it should say "Solution Explorer"
> Also in step 1 it says: …and select ADD| Add Web Form.. Shouldn’t it say: Add | Add New Item? Or is that why I am in trouble. Am I just in the wrong spot?
If you are right-clicking the Web Forms project, you should see see Add | Add Web Form in the shortcut menu. Is it possible you're right-clicking the Business object project instead?
