I know a ComboBox will work, but I was hoping there was another way to do this. I really only want to display text on the screen with a transparent background, so that the user will only see the text and not the dropdown arrow and ComboBox border.

I suppose that I could set the border and background colors to the same color as my main screen then mask out the dropdown arrow with a rectangle of the same color as the main screen.

I was hoping there was a less "messy" way to do this, ...
