Although I have no clear "proof", there are certain practices (from experience) that I avoid in order to maintain a "stable" VFP application; issuing a RETURN from within a WITH ... ENDWITH block is one of them.
Although there may not be an immediate obvious problem, I'm half-convinced that there are at least some cumulative side effects that can cause the application to behave erratically.
