>I may have fixed the table now, Yuri, but I sure appreciate your willing to help me on this data corruption problem. I was finally able to open the table in FoxPro 2.6 afterr doing the following:
>
>(1) Found out that dSalvage couldn't do the entire job. dSalvage did find out that the Header of the file/table was corrupted and was showing another version of VFP. I know that I haven't done anything to alter the table to another VFP version.
>
>(2) I was able to open the table in VFP 6.0, so I copied the table to TYPE FOX2X WITH CDX to another location and filename.
>
>(3) I found only 2 corrupted records with the vertical lines showing (viewed in a browse window). I marked for deletion the two corrupted records, PACKed the table, let the reindexing continue, then closed the file.
>
>(4) I renamed the original file/table to filename-bad.dbf/cdx/fpt then copied in the fixed file giving it the name fot he original file/table.
>
>(5) I opened up FoxPro 2.6a for Windows and DOS and was able to access the new table.
