I also would like to take advantage of multiple (child) report bands in a single report. It would be nice to have a more OOP method of developing the report and possibly a superior design "canvas" as well.

What happens to these tools when their current "killer" features are available in the VFP report writer itself?

I don't like the amyuni.com product because it relies on a printer driver...
i tested a few options and went towith XFRX
it is fast and extremely well designed...
as it stands... eqeus.com (the makers of XFRX) are making me look like a genius with one of my new clients.

The word documents can have hyperlinks embedded in them allowing you to move throughout the word document/report.

XFRX is my choice... and FRX2Any is good ... but was our seconds choice.
XFRX supplies all the code used to make it work including the C++ code.
