I am currently upsizing my Visual FoxPro database to SQL Server 6.5. In the places where in Fox I have a memo field, should I be using the Text datatype in SQL Server?

I understand that if I do this, each record will cost me a minimum storage overhead of 2K, which seems excessive. Does anyone have any advice on this subject?
