Base de données, Tables, Vues, Index et syntaxe SQL
Hi Mark,
I would like to reiterate what Jordon said. Since we have been doing all of our writing to tables with updatable views, we have all but eliminated the data corruption problems that used to plague us. It not having a table open that causes the problem, but having the table in the middle of an edit when the power it removed that causes the problem. We leave the main table open as long as a form is open, but the application never writes to them directly, only through cursors. If you switched to MSDE, you would have to use this method of data access anyway, either with remote views, SPT() or ADO.

>Thank you all for all the response. Seems a DBF repair utility is probably the best solution in our case. We hate the implication that is brewing in the users and management that Fox is "unstable" and needs a repair utility in order to work in this environment. But, guess we have to live with what we have.
