just to let people know, i was originally trying to use .Net with xml to create an application for a handheld with pocketpc. it turned out to be so slow initially, the starting procedure where the xml files were read in and displayed was taking nearly 4 minutes, that we have opted to go for a new environment called sprintDB. it is a great tool but at the moment you are limited to developing on the handheld, so we also got a tool that allows you to work on the desktop, much better. anyway just thought that i would mention sprintDB as i have found it to be an excellent tool, much better than .net for pocketpc anyway
