I am automating word through vfp. Is there a way to tell if the messagebox asking the user if they want to save the current document (the one with yes, no, cancel buttons) is currently open?

I want to know this because if word is already open and I get a reference to it using getobject(), but the user has a document open and it has the save messagebox open, when I try to open or create a new document it will just hang there because the user needs to respond to the word messagebox. I would like to be able to detect the messagebox then wait for the user to respond to the messagebox.

any ideas?
