Hi David,

We ended up deleting the service from Outlook and that enabled us to delete the message. I assume because since there were no services the MAPI spooler couldn't start up and cause the email to "hang", and therfore we were able to remove it from the Outbox. Once we got rid of that one email the rest went out fine.

That sounds similar to your solution?

I'm not familiar with the "CDO" option to delete emails from within vfp, where can I go to research that option?
