I'm not sure spooky is a strong enough word. I actually thought hostile was appropriate, especially after watching the data disappear under my mouse! I suspect you and Nadya are onto something: I know there's no code in the grid itself but the other controls could have method code somewhere in their 'family tree.' That's the down side to inheritance. I'll have a look.
