You could use either my LNKFILES.DLL (from the download section) or the Windows Script Host. It (my DLL) comes with complete documentation on how to accomplish what you need. See the October, 2000 issue of the VFUG newsletter for the second of five articles that the late Ed Rauh and I wrote. It's available on-line at www.vfug.org.
