I have a situation that is perplexing to say the least. In an application written in VFP 6 there is a main entry form which opens an actions form. The time to open the form should be only a couple of seconds (The actions form is based on the most used and largest table in the database - 45 Mb) In some instances it is now taking as long as 5 minutes. I have been having the client get out of the application and reindex the table which speeds it up to normal.

Two clients are in Novell environments but one is strictly Windows 2000. The Win2K client is not having the problem as bad (20 secs) but is now starting to experience it.

Any thoughts?
