What's the letter of the drive you compile on? Is it different than C:? There is an old bug that looks that affected you. You should have ALL the project's files on the C: drive and compile on C: before distributing.

When you use the wizard to create a form, and then make a .exe, the pics on the picbutton class do not appear. So, I have to assume the compiler does not create a file that will run by itself. Strange however, two of the pictures show up on the wizard toolbar with the .exe file. I wish I had time to memorize all of FoxPro's class definitions, but I don't. Also, the compiler is checking for things like existing picture files, but apparently on a selective basis. I tried setting an ico for an unrelated button, then removed it from the directory home. Then, the compiler pukes because it cannot find the ico. Well, why not puke if you can't find a wizard picture? In the documentation, MS sez, "with build, you can make a .app or .exe"(I'm so happy!). It doesn't say you will spend hours debugging if you develop as an app then try to distribute as a .exe. I tried copying all the
>wizard .bmp files to app/HOME and it did not make any difference. Is MS married to this idea that you need to keep an imbillical cord to the development software and the program needs to be weened from it's mother? Why not compile and use(?) and forget the mother. If I forget to include a bitmap, that should be my problem, not Microsoft's, eh?
