I have an application that I'm porting from DOS to Windows using VFP8. The DOS Application uses the Windows User Name and Password to avoid having to maintain a dbf with the info. This is done thru GPLIB (ugh!!!).

Additional security measures are taken by having the person authenticate when trying access certain parts of the system.

They'd like to keep the same functionality but I'm having the darndess time finding some code sample that uses the Windows API to authenticate.

Does anyone know where I can find it or maybe can post the code.
