I am experiencing some erratic behavior with the OLEBoundControl. When I set the AutoActivate property to 3 (Automatic) the control used to open up documents automatically. An example of this is with a .MP3 file or a .DOC file. With the MP3 file it would open the proper registered application in its own window and play the file. With the word document it would open up in edit mode in the same form with the OleBoundControl. I then started to play with the DoVerb() method calling it from a button and from different events on the form and in the OLEBoundControl. I returned all settings to the previous settings and now when I call the form with the OLEBoundControl I see the control in preview mode and have to activate the control manually. I have checked the properties and methods to make sure I haven’t over written anything that would cause this behavior.

The control is bound to a General Field in a .DBF file and is using no third party controls or anything else that is strange.

This is my first time using the OleBoundControl so any help would be appreciated.
