You're kidding, right? SELECT NEVER uses already open tables so it cannot change record positions.

>Perhaps the SELECT, or some other command, changes the position (recno()) in the table. Make sure you don't change the record position. Perhaps you should use COPY TO ARRAY instead of SELECT.
